How do you get in from the airport?
NBS serves the WEST slope (Songjianghe, 18 km to the west gate) - it is 100+ km / about 2 h by road to Erdaobaihe on the north slope; for the north slope fly Yanji (YNJ, about 1 h drive) or take the HSR. Since Sept 2025 the Shenyang-Changbai HSR reaches Changbaishan station - Shenyang 1h53m, Beijing 4h33m; Erdaobaihe/Baihe station is 15 min from the north gate.
