How do you get in from the airport?
URC renamed Tianshan airport: all passenger flights now use T4, and Line 1 does not sit under it - take the free terminal shuttle to the metro first. Line 1 then runs to the center in about 30 min. Taxis about 30 min, ¥50-70 (about $7.50-10).
